Q: 1. When is BBELT held?
A: Join the conference on Friday February 19 from 8:00 onwards local time, Mexico.

Q: 2. Are the times published in the schedule and programme based on the Mexico time zone?
A: Yes, the published timetable is based on the time zone local to Mexico City, UCT-6. Check the start time where you are.

Q: 3. Where can I register?
A: You can register as an individual or group through our website www.bbelt.org. You can find prices here.

Q: 4. How do I join the conference?
A: By following the link www.bbelt2021.com and entering the booking code provided in your confirmation email.

Q: 5. What do I need to join and explore the event platform?
A: We recommend using Google Chrome; if you don’t already have it, it can be downloaded here. We also recommend that you check the stability of your internet connection and, if possible, connect directly to a modem.

Q: 6. What should I do if I can’t get access?
A: Contact us through technical support.

Q: 7. What should I do once I gain access to the platform?
A: Once you gain access, you must complete your profile and upload a photo or, alternatively, create an avatar, so you can be identified within the platform. Check that your details are correct as your certificate will be issued using the same details that you provided.

Q: 8. Will we receive a welcome pack?
A: You will be able to create your own virtual welcome pack. It can be accessed in the ‘Downloads’ section where you will find materials available to download, save on your computer and print when you wish.

Q: 9. How can I get in contact with other conference attendees within the platform?
A: Throughout the conference there will be a general chat function in the networking section. Here you can get in touch with friends and colleagues, whilst remembering to remain respectful

Q: 10. Can I contact the publishing houses?
A: Yes. We recommend visiting our ‘Exhibition’ section, where their representatives will be waiting to assist you. Here you can find the best material in ELT, leave messages with questions and comments, and chat with specialists to clear up any doubts.
If you would like to arrange a video call, you can do so via the menu at the bottom of the section or through the contact menu.

Q: 11. How will I obtain my certificate?
A: You can download the certificate once you have finished the activities on February 20. Go to the profile menu in the top right-hand corner of your screen and click 'Certificate'

Q: 12. Will I be able to see the recorded sessions once the event has finished?
A: Yes, the platform and recorded sessions will be available until February 28. However, you will not be able to interact with other attendees or speakers.
